Nicole Maxali has been creating art since the age of five. In 2005 she quit her job running scripts for highly paid, over-stressed News Producers and began her journey as a working actress/non-profit humanitarian. During that time she became a Bindlestiff Player. Bindlestiff became a space for her to continue creating and shining through her art. Since that first day she stepped out of the newsroom and onto the stage she has transformed through the following theater productions: Bindlestiff’s Stories High 2005/2006, Bindlestiff’s The (original) Love Edition, Bindlestiff’s Shadows, Pinoy Playback Theater, Bindlestiff’s Women’s Show, Brava Theater’s Urban Tao 2006 & FWN’s The Vagina Monologues 2007. Her film credits currently consist of mainly short films, with one, Cereal Monogamy, premiering at the Los Angeles Asian Pacific Film Festival in 2007.
