Myspace : http://www.myspace.com/79948033 In 1981, Michael's mom brought him to an open-call audition in his native San Francisco. Being the first of seven kids chosen from a packed room of several hundred young asian attendees, Michael was oblivious as to what was going on. He even said "Mom...who's this Yul Brynner guy?" He got his feet wet immediately when he was casted for a year as one of the 6 princes
for the "King and I" musical at San Francisco's Orpheum Theater. More than a year after
the contract's end, he re-auditioned for understudy to Yul Brynner's headstrong heir "Chulalongkorn." He toured with the cast around the North East to the culmination on Broadway and he finally got to play the role of the Crown Prince in 1985-86.
